Logistics and service operations

Keep every request visible from intake to invoice.

ANU connects commercial commitments, planning, assignments, execution evidence and billing in one accountable flow.

What ANU changes

ANU helps logistics and service organizations define how requests are accepted, planned, assigned, completed, evidenced and billed, then implements the agreed controls in Odoo. The scope is shaped around the actual service model rather than a generic dispatch screen.

Where operational control breaks.

01

Requests enter through many channels

Calls, messages and spreadsheets create duplicate work and leave service commitments unclear.

02

Planning depends on personal follow-up

Assignments, capacity, deadlines and changes are coordinated by individuals without one visible queue.

03

Completion lacks evidence

Teams cannot consistently connect completed work to time, responsible staff, documents or customer confirmation.

04

Billing waits for reconstruction

Finance must chase operational details before an invoice can be prepared, checked or explained.

A controlled service flow

The workflow preserves speed while making commitments, handoffs and exceptions traceable.

  1. Capture the request

Create one accountable record of the customer need, location, timing and source.

  2. Qualify the commitment

Confirm scope, commercial terms, required evidence and service conditions.

  3. Plan and assign

Allocate responsible people, resources and time against visible capacity and priority.

  4. Execute

Record progress, changes, consumed items and operational exceptions as work occurs.

  5. Confirm completion

Attach the agreed evidence and route unresolved issues before closure.

  6. Invoice and review

Generate billing from approved work and review delays, exceptions and service performance.

Odoo implementation map

Configure the platform around the work.

Modules support the operating model. They do not replace the decisions, ownership and evidence the process requires.

Connect approved services and chargeable items to invoicing and financial follow-up.

Questions to settle before implementation.

Is this a transport management system?

Not necessarily. The design focuses on service and logistics workflows; specialized fleet, routing or carrier needs must be assessed before selecting the final architecture.

Can field teams update work from mobile devices?

Relevant Odoo workflows can be accessed through supported mobile or browser experiences, subject to connectivity, role and process requirements.

Can billing start from completed work?

Yes, when the commercial rule and completion evidence are clearly defined and configured as part of the workflow.

What should be mapped before implementation?

Map request sources, service promises, assignment rules, evidence, exceptions, chargeable events and financial handoffs.
